Online Guided Learning(Hainan Case)

1. Present situation

1. Started operation in 2015, and now the team of 6 members has a foothold in Sanya and Haikou (but rarely enter this office).

a.150 online students (from middle class to Grade 5); Students use Pads or desktop computers by 50/50.

b. 90% of cooperated public primary schools (Grade 1-3) and public kindergartens decreased sharply due to China’s double reduction policy.

a) Some primary schools started to use ABCmouse at Grade 1 and some started at Grade 3.

b) ABC school is carried out in whole school and the relevant tuition fee is 10,000 to RMB20,000 per semester, which is charged from the school not the parents.

c) Sanya's approach to public primary schools is: having only one teacher account but no student accounts, so students cannot review at home. Those who are interested in learning can take part in the online guided learning course; As there are no suitable English teachers in rural areas,  the school headmaster accept online learning for students .

2. Each online We chat guided learning class is held for 4-6 students per group, 2-3 times per week, 45 minutes each time, and RMB40-50 per hour; Dadi's online oral English class can be arranged by Filipino foreign teachers (1 V 6), once a week.

a.50 weeks *2.5 times *RMB45 = RMB5625 per year, plus the account charge, the total is about RMB6,000.

b. Arrange students participation in third-party English competitions, most students can win prizes and thus increase brand reputation.

3. Another 5 groups with about 25 people will set up a We chat group to arrange learning paths and unit activities.

4. The guidance of English learning concept to parents is very important, following list is for reference:

a. Don't complain that students spend too much time on ABCmouse game playing, because they will move on if they play enough times.

b. Don't discourage children's interests.

c. Learning 20 minutes each day. Consistency is most important.

5. Taiwan Trace has been working as a English learning consultant for 2-3 English training centers for a long time (about 5 years) (including selling students accounts), and the income is estimated to be acceptable.

II. suggestions from Dadi

1. Dadi's current online guided learning fee of RMB1,500 per semester and RMB3,000 per year seem low.

2. Online guided learning is a business that all preschool education clubs, parent-child clubs (community stores) and Dadi-Coaches can participate in.

3. If Dadi kindergarten cannot hold daytime classes, interest classes, education centers and community stores nearby , online guided learning activities should be held and to have interested parents have a way to choose.

4.If Dadi-Coach, after 3-5 years, sets up a team of 6 people, runs 150 people * RMB6000 +5 primary schools (source of students) = RMB1000,000 of income, it should be a good business.

5.Dadi-coach is a business covering four projects including parenting clubs (20-200 square meters), teacher dispatching (kindergartens, training institutions, day care& tutoring classes , childcare early education), online guided learning (1-10 students), and advisory & guidance (public primary schools, public kindergartens, English training institutions); The Philippines head office faces global DADI - Coach business is as well.

6. Spoken English Level 4 required for Dadi-coach is not necessary, if his or her team members can speak English, or make good use of Filipino foreign teachers can also carry out business. Besides, if ABCmouse teachers in Dadi kindergarten need to leave, they can think about being Dadi-Coaches.
