Business Planning for Dadi in the Philippines

Business Planning for Dadi in the Philippines

I. Overall Ideas

1. The core assumption for development in the Philippines is that there is significant growth potential in school-run institutions (income sharing & parent questionnaires), not just in selling the APP.

1) The global market for AOL APPs in the Dadi Coaching Model for children aged 3–18 years exists and is substantial.

2) Clark's BPO (many English-speaking talents and low costs) can support the Dadi Coaching Model business for global APPs.

3) Dadi’s B2B2C experience and IPO fundraising ability, along with a large number of web pages, Q&A, training materials, and phone support, are needed to make it easy for people from all regions to understand.

2. This business can be compared with Japanese Kumon Mathematics, Japanese Berlitz English, and Swiss EF English

3. Bring 10 million yuan to Clark for development in stages over the next one to one and a half years.

4. Detailed understanding of the business:

1) Chinese version: http://cnph.dadikid.com

2) English version: http://ph.dadikid.com

5. Dadi Coach and Hi-Tutor's online teaching differ in tools, content, and platforms.

6. Exchange rates: 1 USD = 6.7 RMB = 30 TWD = 55.5 PHP; 1 RMB = 8.28 PHP

II. Business Description

1. 70% of operations are based on the “Dadi Coaching Model,” including 5 APPs from Age of Learning, for students aged 2–18 years.

2. At the same time, start the Dadi Coaching Model for ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, My Math, and other apps for junior high and high school students in the future.

PS: Research, development, and coaching for Adventure Academy in China will also be handled by Clark employees.

Dadi Coaching Model is designed for students aged 2–18 years. Dadi Coach can manage teacher dispatching programs (to preschools, training institutions, parenting classes, and early childhood education), community learning centers, and online Dadi Coaching Model projects. On average, each Dadi Coach could develop 100–200 students.

1) Teacher dispatching is mainly to preschools, accounting for about 70%.

2) Due to time differences across countries, the Clark office will operate 24 hours in three shifts to coordinate with local working hours.

3. N=1 Service: Background data can be compared with observation data from 3–6-year-old preschool teachers. This service aims to ignite students’ internal drive and is divided into:

Children aged 3–8 (parents and teachers involved)

Students aged 10–18 (students themselves)

Services include:

1) Employment psychology tutoring

2) Retreat camp activities for parents and students

3) Supporting the mentality of 3–6-year-old children: fostering self-confidence and health

4) Fixed added value for app users, contributing to revenue sharing

5) Online interpretation for global promotion of preschool sand-play activities

6) Mentoring teenagers aged 10–18: listening to students and encouraging writing

4.  Extensive Dadi sticker advertisements will be placed in cities across various countries. Additional offerings include website sales, app sales, online coaching program, and one-month trial accounts.

5. Continuous understanding and application of Dadi Coaching Model tools:

1) Students’ study time is entered into the CRM to facilitate quality control

2) Students’ information is recorded long-term and managed as alumni; they may donate to the Dadi Coaching Model in the future

3) Establish a human resources system for employees and Dadi Coaches to facilitate information exchange and collaborative thinking

6. Surreal K12 for students aged 3–18 is the core business of Dadi.

III.Clark Business Project

Positioned for the global Dadi Coaching Model with APP (the importance of each project is categorized into levels A–E).

1. Focus on Dadi Coach first (accounting for 50% of the overall output value); other projects will be involved in the second year.

2. Leaders of other projects will begin recruitment three months after launch to support preparation.

3. Use Dadi’s trademarks uniformly (preschool, community learning center, teacher dispatching, online Dadi Coaching Model, teaching materials & teaching aids, etc.), representing Surreal K12.

4. Recruit 3–7 retired professors, directors, and supervisors from Taiwan to serve as project directors to support the rapid launch of various projects. Additional retired professors and experts from across Taiwan may also be recruited to allow more projects to launch simultaneously.

1. Dadi Coach

Operating in approximately 120 countries worldwide (Asia, Africa, Central and South America, etc.), with rapid expansion in each country (e.g., 1,000 coaches in Japan, including 150 in Tokyo). Start date: October 2022.

1) Dadi Coach is about 4 types of business: A community learning center (about 20-200), teacher dispatching (preschools, training institutions, parenting classes, nursery and early education),  Dadi Online Coaching Model (1-10 students), course consultants (public primary schools, public preschools, English training institutions). Students’ learning data will be entered into the CRM.

2) Over the next four years, operations will expand to 50 countries—10,000 Dadi Coaches, increased community learning centers, dispatched teachers, agency consultants, and Dadi Online Coaching Model services.

3) Dadi Coaches do not necessarily need CET-4; team members only need to speak conversational English (Filipino speakers may also be acceptable).

4) Community learning centers can adopt a joint-insurance style venture capital model.

5) Guide students to visit suitable Google museums to broaden their experiences.

6) Conduct winter and summer camps in cities, provinces, and countries worldwide; camps may be held in closed or non-closed formats.

7) Collaborate with Clark Catholic; Filipinos can work globally as Dadi Coaches. Catholic groups and Dadi will jointly raise 50% of the funds. Dadi may also cooperate with educational foundations.

8) Dadi Coach positions range from volunteers (e.g., retired preschool and primary school teachers) to semi-volunteers and commercial staff. Sponsorship funding may also be secured.

2. Teaching Children Chinese — June 2023

Age of Learning will release a Chinese version in March 2023, allowing children aged 2–8 to learn Chinese through listening and speaking.

1) Send teachers from Dadi Preschools to teach Chinese in various countries (focused on listening and speaking only, without reading and writing), using the ABCmouse Chinese version. Duration: 3 months per country; no work visa required (C-level).

2) Online teaching—similar to HiTutor—with oral practice delivered globally from Zhuhai.

3) Teachers will work only at Dadi Preschools. Other Chinese teachers should be local; accents are not a concern.

4) Similar to the English Dadi Coach model, Chinese-speaking teachers can be hired, or Zhuhai can assign Dadi teachers for part-time work.

5) CConsider launching an ABCmouse Spanish version. Investigate whether Spanish-speaking teachers are available in Clark (possibly more concentrated in the Zamboanga area).

6) 80% of Dadi Coaches will use only the American, Chinese, and Spanish versions; 17% will use two of these languages, and 3% will use all three.

3. Private K12 Cooperative School: Similar to Harrow School in the UK — January 2024

● Create the Dadi International School brand and establish preschool educational administration (using Age of Learning APPs as teaching materials, plus principals and teachers). This is a long-term cooperation where land, school buildings, equipment, and other infrastructure are invested by local partners.

● Ideally, cooperation is with existing one-stop private schools. Around 20–50 schools can be launched worldwide each year. Target opening: September 2027 (A-level).

1) Cooperation can occur at specific stages: preschool, primary school, junior high school, or high school.

2) Models can include consultant + app, or at minimum a composite brand + staff dispatch + app.

3) The principal may be a local or Filipino educator, but must hold a Dadi qualification certificate.

4) If a Dadi International School is nearby, Dadi students may visit during winter and summer vacations or holidays.

5) Depending on tuition level, schools will be divided into two K12 brands (not three; possibly only one).

6) Two to three preschools will first be established in Clark as training bases for future teachers and principals.

7) Do not exchange students under the motto “Be the best version of yourself.”

4. Cooperative Operation of International Preschools — January 2023

5. Education Bureau Cooperation: Cooperate with local governments (population 30,000–300,000) to undertake compulsory education using the Dadi Coaching Model system. If 200 local governments participate, this equals 200 × 100,000 = 20 million people. This may cover K12 or, at minimum, elementary and junior high school. Target date: June 2023.

1) Includes support for orphanages and refugee camps.

2) After-school tutoring classes (extended classes) in elementary schools may also be offered.

●  If 1,000 people from each country work in 100 other countries each year, that totals 100,000 people.

●  Establish alumni associations in various countries — based on LinkedIn.

2) An undergraduate degree is very important for life and immigration; students should not give it up.

Students from Southeast Asia may study in the Philippines for 1–3 years before transferring to Europe or the U.S. (becoming proficient in English first).

Provide university application support and counseling to 17–19-year-old students from different countries (including China).

●  Many countries offer transnational grants for studying abroad (tertiary education).
